Kevin Vuong is a Canadian who grew up understanding the importance of service to his community and country. Kevin’s dedication to service was recognized early in his life with several honors. He was named one of Canada’s Top 30 Under 30 and was a recipient of the prestigious Queen’s Young Leader award. Kevin also earned recognition as a NATO 2030 Young Leader, where he joined leaders from around the world to discuss global security and collaboration. Political Career in Parliament
At the age of 32 Kevin Vuong was elected to represent the Spadina–Fort York district in Canada’s Parliament. His election made him the youngest MP of Asian heritage in the Canadian House of Commons. During his time in office he served as an independent MP and brought attention to issues involving community service and national policy.
Military Service and Public Role
In addition to his political work Kevin has served as a naval reserve officer in the Royal Canadian Navy holding the rank of Sub‑Lieutenant. His service extends beyond politics into national defense and strategic advisory roles at His Majesty’s Canadian Ship York. This blend of military and public service highlights his lifelong commitment to Canada.
